How Foursquare can help your Business
Foursquare is a cool mobile application in my opinion and one that many businesses do not take advantage to gain new customers.
This happens for mainly two reasons:
1) They do not know Foursquare at all 2) They do not understand its use
So here are some main points to get you going either you belong to the first or second group.
Foursquare is a location-based social networking website for mobile devices, such as smartphones. Users "check in"at venues using a mobile website, text messaging or a device-specific application by selecting from a list of venues the application locates nearby. (Wikipedia)
1) Make sure your Business is listed so people are able to find you when they use Foursquare to see what's around
2) You can add your business if its not listed and include data like your telephone, working hours etc
3) People can leave comments on their experiences for others to see - so if you are doing a good job you get word-of-mouth advertising
4) You can make friends yourself and let them know when you check-in
5) Each time someone checks-in (including you) you can add pictures and info on special offers etc
6) You can connect Foursquare with Facebook, Twitter and other SM platforms and let anyone in your network whats going in your business (Foursquare belongs to Facebook)
8) Foursquare has 45 million users and growing which some are potential clients
